CIDRIS is the Connecticut Impaired Driver Record Information System. Impaired drivers are arrested by law enforcement and are determined to be impaired above the limits the accused is not admitted to bail or can not make bail and the accused must be brought before a judicial officer within 72-hours of arrest. The charging document is a Uniform Arrest Report (UAR). Each UAR has a unique number assigned to it by the arresting agency. This UAR number becomes the key document ID for this case in CIDRIS. This exchange includes all information needed by both the department of motor vehicles (DMV) and the courts to adjudicate the case. Attachments to this document include the evidentiary documents that determined probable cause.
