Oklahoma E-Citation IEPD

A Law Enforcement Agency Oklahoma Highway Patrol or Sheriff's Office issues a traffic citation to a violator.  This traffic citation is sent electronically from the Unit's vehicle laptop through a Message Broker to the Court for further processing with the DA.  This e-Citation is the first of many NIEM exchanges scheduled to be developed by the Oklahoma Supreme Court Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) in an effort to support standardized information exchanges between State and Local Government Organizations.  This is a collaborative effort between AOC Dept. Public Safety Records Management and Highway Patrol Oklahoma University MIS Dept. and the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office.
