Best of NIEM 2020 Awards Announced

The Best of NIEM 2020 awards recognize those NIEM implementation projects demonstrating significant accomplishment and making noteworthy contributions to NIEM’s use, growth, and adoption. The Best of NIEM 2020 were presented at the NIEM Executive Steering Council’s quarterly meeting held virtually on Wednesday, 23 September.

Established in 2009, the awards recognize outstanding NIEM solutions across our international, federal, state, local, and tribal governments, and the private sector communities.

About NIEM

NIEM develops, distributes, and supports large-scale, enterprise-wide information exchange specifications in a joint partnership across all levels of government, the private sector, and internationally. 

NIEM’s primary purpose is to enable the exchange of information and data at the message level across communities of interest. To maximize efficiencies, NIEM data components are openly available for use and reuse in the design, development and implementation of standard XML-based information exchange specifications.
