Search Warrant
A Search Warrant provides a law enforcement agency with the authority to search places and properties. The Search Warrant is issued from the court to the law enforcement agency when the court finds probable cause to issue the warrant. The Search Warrant contains places and properties to be searched and a judge's signature of approval. The Search Warrant is one of 44 IEPDs developed by California Department of Justice - Data Exchange Project to support information exchange between state and local government organizations throughout the state of California. It could also be adapted for use in other states.
