Pre/Post-Sentence Investigation Report

A Pre/Post-Sentence Investigation Report is sent by Probation to the Court and District Attorney if Probation completes a pre-sentence investigation on an offender.  The Pre/Post-Sentence Investigation Report is sent to a Sheriff if the offender is sentenced to a state institution and is included in the Pen Packet. The Pre/Post-Sentence Investigation Report is one of 28 IEPDs developed by the Texas Path to NIEM project to support information exchange between state and local government organizations throughout the state of Texas.  It could also be adapted for use in other states.
