Indictment or Information

An Indictment or Information is generated by the District Attorney and is sent by a Court or District Attorney to a Sheriff when an offender is sentenced to a State Institution.  The Indictment or Information is sent as a part of the Pen Packet. The Indictment or Information is one of 28 IEPDs developed by the Texas Path to NIEM project to support information exchange between state and local government organizations throughout the state of Texas.  It could also be adapted for use in other states.
