Facility Standards

Purpose: To facilitate accurate and efficient data exchange between Architects Owners and Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ). Leverage NIEM specification to enable any building inspection to be accessed as needed by any AHJ up to the national level. For example a fire marshal inspection or permit documents are filtered to display basic building information for NG9-1-1.  Goal: A searchable parametric index where input is verified in the field in collaboration between architects building owners and code officials on inspections that already occur. Simplified correct building depictions are able to be shared over communication systems.
