Detainers-Holds Notification

A Detainers-Holds Notification is sent by a Jail to a Sheriff if an offender is sentenced to a State Institution and the offender has an outstanding detainer or hold.  The Detainers-Holds Notification is sent as a part of the Pen Packet. The Detainers-Holds Notification is one of 28 IEPDs developed by the Texas Path to NIEM project to support information exchange between state and local government organizations throughout the state of Texas.  It could also be adapted for use in other states.
