Affidavit in Support of Search Warrant
An Affidavit in Support of Search Warrant is a request from a law enforcement agency to the court when the law enforcement agency finds probable cause to request a search warrant. The Affidavit in Support of Search Warrant must be approved by the court before a law enforcement agency conducts the search. The Affidavit in Support of Search Warrant contains probable cause reasons for requesting the search warrant places to be searched property searching for and a judges signature of approval for the Search Warrant. The Affidavit in Support of Search Warrant is one of 44 IEPDs developed by California Department of Justice - Data Exchange Project to support information exchange between state and local government organizations throughout the state of California. It could also be adapted for use in other states.
